Can MSMEs Rise Up from the Pandemic? A World MSME Day 2020 Infographic

After months of quarantine, we've seen the great impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Most, if not all, experienced a downturn in their operations as seen through employee layoffs, temporary closures, reduced demands, and logistical problems. These are just a few of the effects of the pandemic and the ensuing quarantine measures on MSMEs, the backbone of our country's economy. Can they rise up from the pandemic?

Here is a snapshot of how the pandemic has affected the MSME sector and ways we can provide support to help them rise up from these challenges. In ISIP, we are committed to empowering MSMEs, especially social enterprises, as we believe they are instrumental to the acceleration, achievement, and sustainability of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.
