HEI Eligibility Criteria
Existing entrepreneurship courses or programs
Dedicated entrepreneurship faculty
Existing physical or virtual business incubator or tech hub or are planning to set-up one
Active involvement with industry/ private sector partners and social enterprises in the area
Note: In line with the project’s focus, preference will be given to HEIs based in BARMM and in Mindanao.

Frequently Asked Questions
The ISIP Incubator Management Workshop trains and equips entrepreneurship faculty and/or incubator managers with the necessary skills in managing business incubators effectively. This workshop is designed for Higher Education Institutions that offer startups and new ventures access to various resources and support services.
Tentatively, the Incubator Management Workshop is scheduled to be held on three (3) consecutive days in Davao City in October or November 2022. Details will be finalized considering the COVID-19 guidelines and protocols set by the local and national government.
The Incubator Management Workshop is designed for Higher Education Institutions with the following characteristics and pre-requisites:
- HEI has an existing entrepreneurship course/s or program/s
- HEI has a dedicated entrepreneurship faculty
- HEI has an existing physical or virtual business incubator or tech hub or are planning to set-up one
- HEI has an active involvement with the private sector, industry and/or social enterprises in the area
HEIs who have previously participated in ISIP's Incubator Management Workshop will not be qualified to participate. This is to increase the reach of the ISIP in building the capacity of other HEIs.
HEIs may signify interest by submitting a signed cover letter from the HEI President to isip.ph@undp.org and by filling up this online application form before August 22, 2022.
The workshop is free for accepted HEIs into the ISIP program. Accommodations for HEI representatives or designated participants will also be covered by the program. Other expenses such as transportation costs related to travelling to the workshop will be considered the ISIP HEI’s counterpart cost, and thus not covered by the project.
