Neo Kok-Beng

Neo Kok-Beng is an award-winning engineer, educator, and entrepreneur. Neo has built a portfolio of highly-scalable and global companies with deep-science in the areas of Biomedical, Financial and Aerospace technologies – through its unique acceleration program that is "Global-Business & World-Class" in approach. He was awarded Singapore's President Design Award, the US Government Innovation Initiative Award, NUS Innovation and Enterprise Award, and an Honorary Fellow award of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations in 2018 for his contributions to engineering in society.  His latest venture is the development of Personal Aerial Vehicle (or “flying car”) for Urban Aerial Mobility communities.

Professor Neo graduated with an MBA at the Nanyang Technological University on Hewlett-Packard Scholarship, and PostGrad Diploma (ICIS) on Singapore Computer Systems Scholarship, and an engineering degree (Hons) from the National University of Singapore.

Neo will be deployed to the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) in Quezon City.

University of the Philippines Diliman x Neo Kok Beng

Professor Neo discussed how to design crowdfunding activities with the UPSCALE Team which they found useful as they help their incubatees launch their ventures.

Professor Neo also facilitated the discussion on how the College of Engineering can work with the College of Fine Arts in teaching their Humanitarian Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and Design (HEED) subjects. The following semester, the two colleges co-taught an Industrial Design Innovation class
